VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Any resident living in a COBWRA member community is eligible to serve on a COBWRA committee or to volunteer to assist at a COBWRA event.  Please contact schnauzerfan@comcast.net for information about becoming a COBWRA volunteer.


The Caridad Center has medical, administrative, and homework enrichment volunteer opportunities.


The Soup Kitchen feeds the hungry and assists to keep families together by providing nourishment, clothing, and education in a safe, clean, uplifting environment for guests in need of food and fellowship.


Palm Beach County Government has multiple volunteer opportunities available throughout its many departments and programs including Animal Care and Control, Guardian Ad Litem program, Florida Health Department, Parks and Recreation, State Attorney’s office, and Voices for Children which supports the interests of the abused, neglected, and abandoned in Palm Beach County.


Interested in mentoring and teaching others to read? The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County seeks to improve the quality of life in our community by promoting and achieving literacy. Its goal is to ensure that every child and every adult in Palm Beach County can read.

Take Stock in Children Mentoring Program is a solution to one of the most critical problems facing Palm Beach County: dropout rates. Take Stock in Children has a proven record of helping low-income, at-risk children stay out of trouble, graduate from high school, attend college, and become productive citizens of our community.


VOLUNTEERS NEEDED at Palm Beach International Airport Every day, more than 16,000 people will come through the Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA). At any given time, they may have a question about a hotel, attraction, activity, restaurant, or just might need assistance with enhancing their visitor “experience” in The Palm Beaches.
